About me

Underestimated, girl-next-door, fearless at her core, finding her voice and owning it every step of the way

Cara is the kind of performer who brings quiet fire to the stage, unassuming at first glance, but filled with heart, vulnerability, and a spark that sneaks up on you. Originally from Texas, she moved to New York City to chase the kind of stories she loves to tell: ones about women on the brink of transformation, stumbling toward courage and self-discovery.

Since arriving, she’s appeared in Staten Island! The Musical (featured on the original cast album) and has become a regular in the cabaret scene, including Seth’s Talent Showcase, where she was praised by Rebecca Kaplan at Broadway World for her "acting range and strong vocals, deftly capturing a wide range of emotions". She has also produced her own work at The Green Room 42, with her solo A Hymn For A Past Life debuting this past March.

During the industry shutdown, she channeled her creativity into writing and directing A Little Too Much for CyberStock: A Summer Stock Austin Production, which earned a B. Iden Payne Award nomination.

When she’s not performing, she can be found country line dancing and practicing her swing moves, puzzling, scrolling through StreetEasy like it’s Zillow therapy, or spending time with the people who keep her grounded. Whether onstage or off, Cara brings humanity, humor, and heart to every role she steps into, including her own.
